Omar Stone

Obour Francis, also known as Omar Stone, is a rapper and songwriter from the Ashanti region of Ghana. Born in the 80s and raised in Wasa Akropong, his musical journey began during Junior high school.

He recorded his first song at Osei Tutu Senior High and performed in his school and others. His debut EP, released in 2019, gained recognition for his unique rap style infused with Afro influences.

Omar Stone has received two nominations from the Wasaman Entertainment and Business Awards (WEBA) and one from the Prestea-Hunivalley Music Awards (PHMA). His music primarily reflects his life, environment, and the lifestyle of the people.

His single "SOBOLO" marked his entry into the commercial space, providing a significant boost to his career.

With a passion for storytelling through music, Omar has released numerous tracks that have gained recognition on major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, AudioMack, and Boomplay.
